When Dan White joined the Pearson Engineering team, he brought significant experience as a CAD Technician, as well as previous experience in IT management and computer graphics.
Dan’s knowledge of computer aided drafting (CAD), Building Information Modeling (BIM), and HVAC systems has made him an integral part of many Pearson Engineering projects. In addition to producing construction documents in AutoCAD and Revit MEP, Dan has significant experience with field verification and using data logging to help evaluate existing buildings.
Working closely with our experienced engineering staff, Dan has made important contributions to several complex projects, and continues to apply his expertise and attention to detail in serving our clients’ needs.

Data Closet Cooling
Cooling upgrades were provided for thirteen data closets and a central data center. Equipment upgrades include a rooftop unit and heat-recovery chiller.
This project called for replacement of a large, non-condensing boiler with several high-efficiency condensing boilers. It included the simplification of system pumping through piping corrections, as well as the elimination of unnecessary pumps.
This was an upgrade and expansion of the existing chiller plant for greater efficiency and to increase capacity for building additions. It resulted in two new high efficiency chillers and a new cooling tower. The project also added piping to allow heat recovery from data center cooling.
Work for this remodel and expansion of the technical college culinary center included coordinating exhaust and make-up air for nineteen hoods serving the kitchen lab areas, as well as classroom upgrades and expanded cafeteria seating.

DN Greenwald Expansion
This large clinic expansion included the addition of a new Emergency Department and other patient areas. Design Plans were completed in Autodesk Revit, and a BIM model was created of existing building areas for future owner use.
Waukesha Memorial Hospital Power Plant Study & Design
Pearson Engineering was asked to design a hospital addition which would replace existing chiller and emergency power plants to increase capacity for building additions. Work has included installation of four 1500 ton high-efficiency chillers and cooling towers, as well as evaluating the existing building chilled water system to address efficiency and capacity issues.
Waukesha Memorial Hospital AP Lab Remodel
This complete remodel of the hospital AP Lab included re-location of exhaust hoods and evaluation of air flow patterns for indoor air quality in the lab. The project was designed with six phases of construction to allow continued function of the lab during construction.
