Beginning in 2008, Pearson Engineering began working on a three-step Energy Management process in existing healthcare facilities located throughout southeast Wisconsin. This process includes:
Step 1 – Developing a model of daily hospital energy consumption.
Step 2 – Using the model to facilitate Energy Conservation Measures.
Step 3 – Automating the process using building automation control systems.

The actual savings documented in the first year of the program shows a 7% reduction in energy use!
