Energy Study and Conservation in Honolulu, Hawaii

Our work at this building started with an energy study, which was partially funded by the local utility company.  Many of the recommendations in our report prompted the utility company to provide the Owner with incentive money to proceed with the recommendations.  We worked with the Owner to replace the existing chillers and improve the piping arrangement of the chiller plant.  A building automation system (BAS) was installed to control this new chiller plant, as well as several hundred fan coils.  We worked with both the Owner and the utility company to verify the actual performance of the systems was as described in our report.
