Madison Area Technical College – Goodman South Campus

Design and Commissioning

In 2017, Pearson Engineering was asked to produce the HVAC design for the South Campus expansion of Madison College.  The 76,000 SF building includes classroom space for a variety of training programs, including nursing and computer services.  Features of the design include air-to-air energy recovery, in-floor radiant heat, high-efficiency boilers and chillers, and variable-volume exhaust of lab spaces.  Planned and coordinated in 3D using Revit, the design was completed over a period of four months.
